Brighton is not one housing stock, it is six, and we have crawled under all of them
A 1940s bungalow on 4th Avenue has nothing in common with a 2019 build off 168th. A Bromley Park ranch behaves nothing like a Prairie Center townhome. A farmhouse on Bridge Street is its own universe. We fix all of them, and we know their personalities, their failure modes, and which parts to pre stock on the truck before the visit.
Neighborhoods and corridors we cover
Brighton Crossing east of Sable Boulevard, the newer master planned area. Usually PEX supply, sometimes noisy water hammer at the hose bibs.
Bromley Park along Bromley Lane, classic mid 2000s builds. Anode rods on water heaters are the first thing that goes.
Prairie Center along Prairie Center Parkway. Newer, mostly trouble free, with occasional pressure regulator failures.
Holly Crossing near the E-470 corridor.
Baseline Lakes east of 168th, large lots, longer yard lines to the meter.
Todd Creek Farms and Box Elder Creek Ranch, acreage builds with their own water heater sizing story.
Historic Downtown Brighton between Main Street and Bridge Street. Galvanized supply, cast iron drains, quirks.
Bartley, Avondale, Bachman Tract in the western pockets.
Streets we know by heart
Bromley Lane, Bridge Street, Main Street, Sable Boulevard, Tower Road, Buckley Road, 136th Avenue, 144th Avenue, 160th Avenue, 168th Avenue, Prairie Center Parkway, and the E I-76 Frontage Road where our shop lives. If you are off any of these, we are probably 15 to 30 minutes out.
Plumbing jobs we get called on most in Brighton
Frozen and split hose bibs in January, discovered in April when water starts to run inside the wall. Covered on our outdoor plumbing page.
Drain clogs kitchen heavy, because Brighton cooks at home. Head to drain cleaning.
Pinhole leaks in copper in homes built between 1998 and 2008. Start with leak detection, then pipe repair.
Running toilets and dripping faucets, the unsexy stuff that quietly kills water bills. Toilet and faucet work.
Brighton code notes. Brighton runs its building and plumbing permits through the City of Brighton building department. Water heater swaps, gas line work, repipes and sewer work all need a permit. We pull all of ours.
Local response examples
Brighton Crossing, 11:40 p.m. on a Tuesday. 50 gallon gas tank leaking onto garage floor. Call to arrival 47 minutes, new Bradford White in, haul away done, garage mopped by 2:05 a.m. We were in and out inside four hours.
Historic Downtown Brighton off Main Street. 1952 bungalow, sewer backup in the basement floor drain. Camera at 25 feet showed roots at the clay transition. Hydro jet cleared it in 90 minutes, spot repair quoted for the next week.
Questions we get from Brighton homeowners
My water pressure dropped overnight. What should I check?
Start at your PRV (pressure reducing valve), usually right where the main enters the house. They fail without warning after 8 to 12 years. If PRV looks fine, check the meter, then your main shutoff partway closed. If none of that explains it, call us.
Do you work on older Brighton homes with galvanized pipe?
All the time. We can repair sections or quote a full repipe. See pipe repair for options.
Do you service homes outside Brighton city limits but in 80603 ZIP?
Yes. 80603 crosses into Lochbuie and parts of unincorporated Adams and Weld counties. We cover all of it.
